There is not new inforamtion
this week. This week is an opportunity to continue working on your
two PowerPoint presentations as decribed in Week Five. This extended
opportunity should give you more time to blend this assignment with
the other responsibility of the MAT program and your lives. It also
allows for greater procastination and less focus on the course work.
This then requires more energy on your part to focus.
Uploading the Presentation
Typically uploading these presentations
is done on campus which is simply a matter of dragging the presentation
icon onto the Pulbic_html icon. We can still do some of that on Saturday
when we meet on campus. If you wish to do this bring your presentations
on a memory stick or CD.
If you wish to upload from off
campus you will use a remote desktop connection. On most PC's this
can be found in All Programs, Accessories, Communication
or just Remote Desktop Connection. On a Mac you need
to upload a program called CoRD (free, Google search
on the Internet). In either case, after you open the program, type
in "ts.wou.edu" (no quotes). The use your
WOU username and password and select
"MASH" in the third box. This will open
an window that looks like a PC window and you have to login
again. Once you are here you will find the PowerPoint program
and under MyComputer you will find the p-drive.
