Types of VinegarThere are many different types of vinegars. They are made from a variety of sources including fruits, grains, and roots. The sugar from the source is first converted into an alcoholic liquid. The liquid is then acidified using acetobacter, which are a group of microorganisms. The final product that is created contains 4-6% acetic acid.
