Tornado |
Tornados form with strong thunderstorms. They look like a funnel coming down from the sky. The funnel of a tornado is called a Twister. Warm humid air rising up from the ground cools quickly when it reaches the base of the thunderstorm. This makes the air spin, kind of like the water in a bath tub going down the drain. They are very dangerous and winds inside the tornado can be up to three hundred miles per hour. 0 |
