Eagle talons, Mitsubishi eclipses, and Plymouth lasers, are all known as “DSM’s” because they were all equipped with the same parts and engines from Diamond Star Motors.  Only slight changes were made between each year from 1990 to 1994 and there are only slight variations in bumpers, and other body parts from each company that claimed their “DSM”.  Diamond-Star Motors was officially dissolved in 1993 after the design and production tooling for the 1994 and 1995 cars wad complete. Mitsubishi Motors continues to operate the plant formerly responsible for DSM cars under sole ownership.  Below is a table that shows the different models available from 1990-1994 as well as their engine type and horsepower rating.  For pictures and more specific information about Talons, Eclipse, and Lasers please visit the links on my web site.
