Oils are not a food group but we need to eat oils to have good health.

Oils are foods we need to eat limited amounts of. The less of this group we eat the better our bodies feel. Most of the oils are bodies need can be eaten by other foods that are good for our bodies. Oils that are good for us include oils found in fish, and certain plants like corn oil and olive oil.

Foods that are mainly oil include mayonnaise, certain salad dressings, and soft (tub or squeeze) margarine.
