Introduction to SiteThis site documents the lessons I created for my second term field experience as a student teacher for Western Oregon University. I worked in a first grade classroom and based my lessons on information and materials provided by the Full Option Science System (FOSS) plant program that the school district follows. You may view the FOSS online resources that relate to these materials at the link above. Though these materials provided me with a starting place, I also gathered outside information and created new lessons and activities. The following pages display a sample of the materials that I created and the work that the students did as part of these lessons. |
