The foucs this term will be in American Literature. We will be reading four books: George Orwell's, "Animal Farm", Mark Twain's, "The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn", F. Scott Fitzgerald's, "The Great Gatsby", and Harper Lee's, "To Kill a Mockingbird".

Students will be looking at stylistic variations between texts, and mimicing the styles found. We wll also look at authorian intent, and the stories historical context.
