| Rivers Cuomo was born June 13, 1970 in Yogaville, Connecticut. Rivers is the lead singer and lead guitarist for Weezer. Rivers said "As I grew up I was always sheltered from anything even remotely cool". When Rivers was 18 he decided to move to Los Angeles to become a rock star but soon found that it wasn't as easy as that. Rivers said "That most of those first songs he wrote were no good". He and his band are now a success world wide. Rivers tries very hard to stay out of the spotlight and to try and be as normal as a person can be when they are a famous rock star. Rivers even as a degree from Harvard in English with s minor in Music.They have to hit singles that play on the radio almost all the time such as: "Hash Pipe" and "Photograph". |
