About the Advisor: Denvy Saxowsky
In another
time I would have chosen to be a mountain man, living in the mountains
allowing nature to direct my life instead of society. However
I am here now and I choose to let people, especially students
guide my life, instead of politics. When I'm not working
with students, I'm working in the garden or reshaping a piece
of wood.
In this position I have the opportunity to first
and foremost support students define their life goals and then
help them pursue those ends. In this respect I am one of the
more fortunate persons in the world. Because the students
with whom I work are of the highest quality from all around the
world, I am an eager student grasping all I can about these students
and their worlds. They are my teachers.
It is my hope that
you visit with me or other instructors regarding
questions of this program, the courses in the program or your
life goals, and that you use this website only as a resource and
a backup for details. This site is not to replace one-on-one conversations.
Please advise me if you have any ideas to improve this site. I,
too, will be continually making changes and upgrading.
