Intro to the Basics

For the first day of the unit, I would show my class a powerpoint. The powerpoint would go over basic words that are masculine, feminine and "neuter." We will only go over the basic Der, Die and Das, without getting into the more difficult versions of the articles. The powerpoint will consist of pictures such as the ones on the right. I will go over a few basic exceptions to the "Feminine words end in 'e'" rule. I will answer any questions students have, then prepare them to watch the more in depth podcast on the second day of the unit.
