Podcast- The man throws the ball for the dog

On the second day of the unit, my class will watch a podcast explaining the nominitve, accusitive, and genitive forms of the articls. I will use the classic "Der Mann wirft dem ball für den Hund." Though all the nouns are masculine, there is a difference between the subject, direct object and indirect object. I will explain how this works, and show that even when you jumble the sentence "Dem Ball wirft den Hund für der Mann," Germans will still understand by the article. This will be a confusing day, so I will make tomorrow a fun activity.
