Personification
Rain falls and blurs my vision
it smears my colors
it frees the boundaries
I once held dear...
the boundaries that aren't so clear.
Rain falls down from above
and I'm reminded of
her
and her mission.
Personification is used in poetry when the writer assigns human characteristics to non human things.
