Giant Panda

The Giant Panda has a Latin Name 'Ailuropoda Melaneuca;' the second word meaning "black and white." The giant panda is a mammal that can grow to 160 to 190 centimeters and an adult panda can weight from 70 to 125 kilograms (about 140 to 250 lbs).

They live in southwest China in mountain forests. Pandas eat bamboo, tree branches and meat.
