A photograph does not have to be in a specific place or event to be great or interesting; however here are some great places to be inspired. Also, do not forget to be inspired by the sites around you.

Multnomah Falls

This is one of the most beautiful place in Oregon. It is one of the sites located in the John Day Fossil beds. To really maximize the beauty of the area try not to get too much of the sky because if the sky is too light it can cause the picture to be a eye sore. Instead, do what these photographers did, maximize the land and minimize the sky. For more information on the John Day Painted Hills website.
This is a great place to take pictures. There are many trails that go up to the top of Multnomah Falls and around to other waterfalls in the area. The falls are located outside of Portland, Oregon. If you would like more information go to the Multnomah Falls’ website. The trail is about a one mile hike to the top of the falls. It can be a little narrow, but the trail is fairly user friendly. Now for a minute lets think about all the different changes that can be made to take a nice picture of running water. The shutter speed will need to be faster and the aperture could possibly be set at F5.6 or higher depending on the time of the day.
