Summary
This assignment will consist of doing a pre-reading assignment about seeing how much students know about using math on a daily basis in the real world. We will read a book called The Math Curse, and then discuss how much math is used in our life. We will also be watching a video that relates to The Math Curse that shows real-life careers that use math all the time. After doing a few exercises with this, we will continue to move on, and read Tuck Everlasting. When reading this book, we will take events that happen in the story, and turn them into problems for the students to solve. More information will follow.
