Helpful Hints

Use proper technigue when dribbling, shooting, and passing:

Dribbling: head up, dribble with fingertips, ball goes as high as hips, good stance (feet shoulderwidth apart), dribble ball slightly in front of body with other arm protecting ball.

Shooting: shooting hand in backwards "C" shape, ball on fingertips, eyes looking at basket, knees slightly bent, good stance, non-shooting arm holding ball on shooting arm, followthrough at the end.

Passing: make sure receiver gives you a target, step forward with dominant foot, flick wrists so that fingers and thumbs point to receiver and palms point outward.

Make sure you ball is fulling pumped up to get a good bounce.

Work on simple, but very usefull skills such as lay-ups and free throw shots.

Always play with a friend!
