Indonesia

Indonesia ranks third in the world in coffee producers. A limited amount of this coffee is arabica, but the arabica coffee that is produced is considered some of the best in the world.

Areas that produce coffee in the Indonesian region include Sumatra, Sulawesi, Java, and New Guinea.

Mandheling and Ankola are two coffees that originate from Sumatra.

Coffees from Sulawesi are processed using a dry method. They are low in acid with a deep body.

Java stores some of the coffee produced there in warehouses for two or three years so that the coffee loses it acidity and gains body.
