This is my story

I was born and raised in Taiwan. My father is from California and my mother is Chinese. I am the oldest of six kids.

I grew up going to the Chinese schools in Taiwan. Every day after I come back from school my dad would go through some home school materials that he had ordered from America. Because of this, I am literate in both English and Chinese.

I lived in Taiwan till the summer of 2006. For my last year of high school I came to Oregon. I turned 17 shortly after I moved here. My family stayed in Taiwan.

I got my high school deploma studing at a private school in Oregon. During the time I was in high school, I decided that I want to be a teacher. A friend of mine introduced me to Western Oregon University.
