Ferrets and humans have very similar eyes. Ferret eye colors can range from dark brown and Burgundy to red (albino). At close range ferrets can see very well, even better than humans. However, from far away their sight is a lot less distinct. Ferrets eyes work the best at twilight. They are sensitive to bright light. You may notice that your ferrets' eyes appear to "glow" in the dark.
