- Worked with the  volunteer coordinator of the library to organize files and contact volunteers,  and people interested in volunteering at the library

  - Unseen Mean Anti-Bullying Project                                September –  December 2008

    - Became trained as  a volunteer for the American Red Cross
- Worked with  American Red Cross in trying to implement an Anti-Bullying Curriculum in the Salem-Keizer School District
- Drafted individual/grant proposal highlighting  key issues dealing with bullying in elementary schools
