I have always had a deep love for English, ever since I was a little girl and could not stop reading books.  I have wanted to be a teacher as long as I can remember.  Both my mother and grandmother were teachers, and they instilled in me a great love for knowledge and education.  I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Literature from Western Oregon University, and also my Masters of Arts in Teaching.  I am married to my wonderful husband and we live with our pet snake.
