Humid Continental Hot-Summer Climates:  located in equatorward of other microthermal climates Humid Continental Mild-Summer Climates:  cooler than above due to being at higher latitude Subarctic Climates: cooler yet due to more poleward locations than above, have thin soils due to recent glaciation, most of precip falls in high sun season.
