Michael Jordan and Steve Kerr are two of the greatest basketball players of
all time.
Well, that might be true if we define careers strictly by championship
titles.
People idolize Michael Jordan, in part for winning six NBA
titles, Steve Kerr falls only one short,
with five. But, do these two players even belong in the same sentence in terms of career greatness?
Many argue that a player’s career is incomplete
without a championship title. Talented
players who never reach that pinnacle are then cloaked with the label “Best player to never win it all.” Quite the left-handed compliment; it masks their true
accomplishments.
