Page 4: Homepages
The final step in our tutorial is setting our new webpage to be our homepage.
Let's open up the page in a browser. Click START, and open either Internet Explorer or Firefox (whichever you prefer). In the URL type:
http://www.wou.edu/~ellism
replacing "ellism" with your WOU campus username. This should bring up and view your page. You should be able to click the links at the top, or click the email links at the bottom (which won't work correctly from the Terminal Server).
From your office/home computer, you can click Tools, Internet Options in Internet Explorer. Click the Use Current button to set your homepage to the webpage you built. Now if you close the browser and reopen it, your page will always come up first. To do this in Firefox, click Tools, Options, and click the Use Current Page button. Now your page will always load first when you open a browser.
