on World Map

GOALS:
Students will learn to identify and locate regions and
physical features on world maps (SS.08.GE.03). Students will be able to locate population centers on a map. (SS.08.GE.04.01).
OBJECTIVES:
The students will show where a provided list of regions, countries, areas, and population centers should be on a world map. They should be able to place 15 out of 20 of these names correctly on the world map that will be provided for them.

A. Anticipatory Set

you draw maps and name features on those maps without realizing what area on

The post-assessment test will be given. The questions will not be in the same
order but will be the same. This
gives every student an equal opportunity to do really good by putting in a
little study time.
