While growing up in Oregon City, I attended two different Elementary Schools, Beavercreek Elementary and John Mclouglin Elementary. During middle school I went to Ogden Middle School for 7th and 8th grades. After middle school, I moved on to Oregon City High School , where we were one of the top five largest schools in the state of Oregon. This was both good and bad. Good for the fact that there were a lot of different people in the school and many different varieties of social groups. One of the bad things about going to such a large high school is that it a large high school and there is no room to even breathe. Because Oregon City High School was built in the 1930's, it was not up to par with the amount of students it was suppose to hold. I decided to attend WOU during my senior year of high school because I wanted to be able to play baseball and also this college is reknowned for its teaching program. My father attended Western Oregon when it was known at OCE. |
